Two things
Two things, why would you use both tappings? Are you just going the extra mile? If so, good for you! Also, it's certainly ok to keep everything 2 inch, in fact, its preferred (if I'm understanding you right).0 -
extra mile

Not at all
Not at all, using both tappings can only help in the production of dry steam. However, you'll want to be carefully how you connect them, but this is all available in the Burnham Literature. As for the Hartford loop, you'll probably want to connect that in whatever size it is now, usually 1-1/4. So you would use an 2 x 2 x 1-1/4 steam tee for example.0 -
loop
The old loop was 1 inch copper ten inches above water line.0 -
So make it
So make it a 2 x 2 x 1 steam tee and drop the center line of the Hartford loop to 26 5/8 above the finished floor.0
