Prudential Steam Boilers

Just left a job site that had a 1950 Prudential Steam boiler installed that needs to be replaced.
Question One: Is there any literature out there on these boilers
Question Two: Would it be advised to install a water feed on the new replacement boiler?
Thanks

I believe Part 10 is the one you want.

Boiler replacement
Don't forget the importance of recalculating the edr of the radiation in the building, before you select the new replacement boiler.
Leave some money in the pot for a vaporstat, a good low pressure gauge (gauge store.com, 0-15 ounces), and finally a few gorton #2 main vents. Just keep adding them until the back-pressure of venting gets down to 2 ounces during the venting phase, otherwise you will have troublesome short-cycling.--NBC0
