German Myth Busters....

Has anyone had any experience with a hydronic radiant ceiling product called FRENGER?

I have a friend considering it for a shop with 20' ceilings. I told him I thought that was pushing the limits as it pertains to ceiling height, and he showed me the multiple hangar style buildings they'd done for the US Armed Forces over in Germany. Their specs seem to be in line as it pertains to operating temperatures (less than 120, and with increased surface areas, in fact as low as 111 degrees F with a 15 degree drop.

Can also provide radiant cooling from above as well...

Thoughts? Comments? Experience?

Are these panels even distributed in N. America?

    Not sure Paul...

My friend is doing some research for the D.O.D., and went to Germany to view some D.O.D. hanger installations that utilize this product. He's dealing directly with them.

His project is out in an unincorporated area, so approval by the AHJ is not a big concern, yet...
