    Installed a TRIANGLE PE

this winter, as usual, they love it and it has performed flawlessly. Was back in the spring to install ductless and while working there, another heating company pulled into the neighbors drive. I said to the owner....maybe they are going to get a new ac system.

He replied, no they have no hot water, this is the third time their new boiler has failed.

I said .. what type did they get. He said it was a triangle tube but a different model called a Challenger.

I went through an abbreviated class on them last time I was at Triangle and was not impressed. Its imported.. I believe from Holland, cast aluminum surrounding a copper serpentine exchanger, must be piped pri sec and a 0012 hung on it to get full rated btus.

Its not cheap either, its so close to the cost of a Prestige(if your just doing heating) that the old adage ...in for a penny in for a pound never rang truer.

Just my thoughts, I have never installed one.
