Looking for opinions and comments on using drip pan elbow vs safety vent connector (American BOA) on a steam safety valve discharge. This is not for any specific application, but a typical application would be: safety valve set pressures of 15-50psi, PRV pressure in/out 125/10PSI, could be a few hundred to a few thousand lbs./hr capacity, saturated steam.
