Hi,
My supplier is telling me that you no longer need to use Pex Aluminum Pex with Warmboard, that some type of regular Pex is approved. Has anyone had any experience with this? Please advise,
Thank you

Their new Web site
has a good installation video and they say PEX/AL/PEX only in that program.
Have you called them?Retired and loving it.0 -
Warmboard Approved tubing list
Can be found here:
http://www.warmboard.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/ApprovedTubingList_0812.pdf
Not just PEX-AL-PEX anymore. Please read the list or contact Warmboard directly @ 877-338-54930 -
You might want to edit that video.
Could be causing some confusion. Thanks.Retired and loving it.0 -
regular pex is often allowed
as per that list but I don't know anyone who has done PAP and PEX who would choose to do PEX... it doesn't stay nearly as well.Rob Brown

I am doing radiant in-floor heating in kitchen with solar thermal per-heat with 50 gal nat. gas water heater back up. I am using Roth panels 3/8 pex tubing . hard wood over this
has been hard to find that would warranty it. So I am thinking of Hardy-backer broad with
Paramount 18x18 tile tile.Should I also use underlayment (Schluter Ditra) then lay the tile? Thanks Big John0 -
