Hi Mark,
I was speaking with my 75 years young retired engineer friend on Saturday and he informed me that he had turned his water heater down to 120 F for the summer.
I suggested this was a very bad idea because of the risk of Legionairres Disease.
His dear wife has an autoimmune disease and other health complications and has had several bouts of pnemonia in the last few years.
I told him to immediately turn the temp up to 140+ and leave it there.
He feels he is protected because he is on a municipal water supply.
Do you have any links or suggested reading I could pass along to him?
Thanks
Stephen C
