Hydrosmart 170 for backup to wood-fired boiler?

I have a new Benjamen wood boiler for a radiant heating system.Also, I have a Hydrosmart 170 LPG water boiler. Can I use the Hydrosmart 170 as a back-up heater?

    but I would hope you wouldn't use it much... not very efficient.
