Home owner has old steel oil boiler with domestic coil and wants to put TT PE110 LP gas boiler in. Nat gas not available.
Oil btu is 139,000 per gallon and LP gas is 91,800 BTU per gallon
home owner will buy his LP tank so he can shop for competitive LP pricing
They have one heating zone 14,000 BTU copper baseboard
The addition to the house has radiant heat.
One radiant heat zone is 14,500 BTU
One radiant heat zone is 7,500 BTU
One padiant heat zone is 7,500 BTU
another zone copper baseboard zone at about 42,000 BTU but the heat loss in that zone is 25,000 BTU
will these small BTU zones effect the efficiency of this boiler?
home owner does not want to stay with oil.
any thoughts.

PE110
the radiant zones will pipe through a 1"- 3 way thermostatic mixing valve and pump; the baseboard on its own pump. The primary loop must be 1" around the boiler and the 2 supply temps use closely spaced tees to work properly. The correct piping is described in their manual. Follow it carefully!!!!!
Small zones will not affect the operation of the boiler. Use zone valves after the pump and use a "Smart" pump if possible. (Grundfos Alpha or Taco variable speed) The smart pump will "see" the zone valves opening and closing and adjust flow rates accordingly.0
