Hello, I have not done many conversion burners as of late, I generally pass these off to the next guy, but we have a good customer and I need to convert two. I have put in several G3B, never heard a peep since.

Any opinions about which may be a better fit for the BUD?

Thanks kindly, gary

    Riello

    Gary,

We have converted a handful to LP using the Riello 40 series Gas burners.  That is the burner that was recommended by Buderus a few years ago.  I haven't had any problems.

    Good Luck.

    Of the two you mention

the EZ-Gas is the proper choice- it can develop more static pressure than the G3B, which is needed since this boiler runs with positive pressure in the firing zone.

I haven't used the Riello, but have heard good things about it.

    thanks

After I paid more attention to the vendors quote i realized I was mistaken, the EZ was on there twice (their codes make no sense at all), it's just that one had a cover and one didn't (the codes didn't look similar in the slightest). I assumed the cheaper one was the G3B.

    Thanks for the help, gary
