Disconnected hot water coil

This past heating season, converted oil boiler with gas gun, and added separate hot water heater, disconnecting coil. During summer is there any maintenance needed for boiler/coil?

Check for loosened debris
You should have that boiler checked to see if the new gas gun has loosened up any debris from the oil burning days, no big rush but it should be checked before next heating season.
If the new hot water heater is a tank type you might want to hook the input of the hot water heater up to the boilers hot water coil to help heat hot water during the heating season. Don't use the aquastat on the boiler just use whatever heat you can get off the boiler while it's heating the house.
