thermostat question

Member Posts: 18
Hello,
I have a quick question that hopefully someone can help me answer. I just got back to the northeast from a nice caribbean vacation and unbeknownst to me,before we left my wife turned off the heat at the thermostat. I would have just turned it down. Anyway, we got back and it sure isn't tropical up here and when I turned the thermostat back on, for some reason, my boiler won't fire.
Can someone help me get some heat back to my house?
Thanks,
Mike

More details please
What kind of thermostat? (take a pic).
Are you sure the t'stat was put back on heat?
Is it programmable?
If so, does it say it's calling for heat? If it is, then it's not the t'stat.
What kind of heating system?
Etc, etc,There was an error rendering this rich post.
