Does anyone know if there is an acid stain supply store here in Maine.I would rather deal locally then order off line. I am looking into doing my radiant heated finished basement. Lowes and Home depot have some but you usually get what you pay for. Has anybody done this before? experienced Input would be most welcomed. Thanks

Stain
Readymix suppliers may know where or carry some. I would pour a test slab [thin, so you can break it up later] to experiment on if going dyi.
I can tell you, I am a custom home gc, and I would hire a specialist if it was me, unless I just wasn't worried what it was going to look like. I don't think it is easily correctable if it goes wrong.0 -

Thanks Bld999. I am looking to lose the carpet due to the radiant placement undr the slab and my carpet and pad being an r-value of 3, Want to lose the insulator!! My home was custom built by a gentleman that owned Poland Springs. 1/2 million dollar home and the only gripe i have is his choice of pex placement in the walkout basement. Nothing major. Take care!!!0
