footage = how big a boiler
sized room by room lxwxhx10=btu's divided buy 600=footage....added all together comes to 119 feet element0 -
What
Method is that?
L x W x H = cubic feet x 10 / 600 ?
Where did that come from?0 -
Oh I see
it now
10 btu per cube and
600 btu per foot emitted.
I still don't know where the 10 btu comes from.0 -

House size:
Are you saying you are building a house that is 119' by 600'?
I have never seen how the heatloss program you used works. But, are you saying that the heat loss program says that a room, 10' X 10' with one outside wall exposure, and the same room with 2 outside wall exposures and a third room with three outside wall exposures all have the same heat loss values?
If so, and you have a cat, and the program is on paper, use it to line the bottom of your cat box. It doesn't work that way. At least I've never seen it work that way. Though, it might work for you.0 -

First off. Only press the submit button once.
Second. Square footage / cubic footage is only part of the calculation.
Do yourself a favor and consult a qualified heating pro in your area. At the very least pay them or an engineer to spec what size heating equipment and baseboard you need.
Would you try to guess at what size I beam to use to hold up the floor over a 30 foot span? I wouldn't either.
I know you want to save some money, but a job done wrong will cost 10 times more to fix later, then it will to just do it right now.0
