Does any one have a problem with the Taco 007IFC F7 pumps ? I have noisy flowcheck. Older F5 is quiet.

I don't like or use them
I much prefer a sweat or flow check valve. Those internal check valves don't last. It's your typical plastic garbage.0 -

I have used IFC pumps for many years now and have yet to have a check valve be noisy or fail. swing or spring checks work great but are quite noisy. Swing checks clank when they close and spring checks rattle.0 -
I've tried them
The early version was opposing the impeller, and would pop out and end up like ground beef. They relocated them, but still have had a few problems. There is no savings at that point. These were only developed to save the installer a few bucks, but they can also cost you more in the end. JMHO0 -
