I am pouring concrete on a wood floor and placed ice and water over the wood floor to keep the concrete from coming in contact with the wood and putting my radiant heating on top of that.  The pour is a 3" pour so I would imagine I would have chairs going under the pex tubing to keep the tubing close to the surface.  Will I get a smell from the ice and water that the concrete is sitting on from when the heat is on?

Thanks,

Anselmo

    Poly

Why not use 6 mil poly sheeting [visqueen] instead and not the ice & water? It will probably just smell gray and dusty like concrete usually does anyway.
