Is this how 1 CPH works?

This is my understanding of how 1 CPH heating works: at 3:05 pm, t-stat calls for heat. Boiler turns on. T-stat is satisfied at 3:20 pm. Boiler turns off. The boiler now won't turn on again until the next one hour mark even if the t-stat calls for heat before then. In my example, that would be 4:00? Is that correct?

    CPH setting

Your assumption is wrong. The CPH setting is in the Tstat so if the tstat calls for heat the boiler will run.

    You are correct . . .

I worded my post improperly. I understand that the setting is in the t-stat. What I should have written is that the boiler won't turn on even if the temp in the room falls below the temp setting of the t-stat until the one-hour mark, which is 4 pm in my example, b/c the t-stat won't call for heat until the one-hour mark.
