Installed new Eternal GU195S hybrid tankless heater. I believe it is thermal shocking. Incoming water temp is 39 F....asking for 130F. Can not these units handle this deltaT/

are a condensing appliance. They can handle the sudden change in temp. What sort of noise? Was the unit set up w/ a combustion analyzer0 -

it sounds like a cold water flashing on to something hot. A pinging or kettling sound.0
