Need to replace a Trane angle B1 radiator trap. My question is how do you know if it has a removable seat?

Remove the cap
and look in the bottom of the trap body. If the seat is removable it will have a hexagonal rim around it that you can use a socket wrench on. If there is no hex, the seat is integral.
B1 traps were made with integral or removable bellows too. If the bellows cannot be unscrewed from the cap, you may need to replace the cap too. But that's less risky then replacing the entire trap body and spud. All Steamed Up, Inc.
