Honeywell True Steam blowing up our cond pump

Anyone have problems with HW True Steam killing their cond pumps? We must have 20 true steams out there, no pump issues. We have one job we did last summer, 12 GPD, and the thing smoked two pumps. I was thinking of making a make-shift 'holding tank' to slowly drain the water into the pump, allowing it to cool off too.



So, I am wondering if this particular true steam is simply dumping the water either too fast or too hot.



My guy called HW, that was useless.
