Any tips on installing sensors in gypcrete pour? Been told they can fail over time. Just installing now before the pour so looking for the best method for possible repair-chang-out if necessary. Thanks

spellcheck
I meant sensors.........0 -
Easiest way....
Run a piece of pex right near the manifold about 12", cap end with foil tape. Other end should be open and where youll have access. After pour, simply slide sensor all the way in.There was an error rendering this rich post.

Thanks but.........
what if i have a longer run and the wire won't push that far and bunches up? Or if one sensor goes bad and I have to change it?0 -
how far we talking....
The sensor doesnt need to be in the center of the room. I'm sure youre going to have (hopefully) the manifold, or an access panel somewhere nearby. Don't forget your going to have run that sensor wire back to the control.
Longer run? Make sure the pex for the sensor is straight. Get a piece of drop ceiling hanger wire, blunt the end, and push it in (think old time musket). There was an error rendering this rich post.
