Oil Burner short cycling

My oil burner seems to be short cycling. It will turn on for about 10 seconds than off. Than back on again until reaching the correct water temp. It does this regardless if the thermostats are on or off. And does it maybe twice a day. The triple aqua stat is set 160-140 with a 10 diff.
Is it possible the aqua stat is going?

could be
a zone valve or thermostat. Generally it is split second timing if it is aquastat0 -

What aquastat do you have? Where is your primary control?0 -
Auqastat is...
It is a Honeywell L8124 and the primary is right ontop of the Beckett burner.0 -
If it is
back on almost immediately, my bet would be cad cell relay. If a few seconds, I would say zone valves, thermostat0 -
Thank you
Billtwocase... Thank you! I will check that out.0
