black iron or brass plug?

Though this is kind of a continuation of another thread I thought it might be best seperate for the sake of searching in the future.

I'm going to be moving one set of main vents and need to plug the tee on the steam main.  Should I use a 3/4" black iron plug or brass?

I'm thinking brass as it should be easy to remove even years later if I want to.

What do you think?

    Brass

If you EVER want to get the thing out, use brass.  Iron will rust into one mega-molecule in about six years.

some people like to use a nipple and cap on these, as you can always get a nipple out, even years later.

the brass plug may not rust into the hole, but the soft metal ears can be turned off--nbc

    Always the odd man out

I'd go with the black iron if that's what it's going into. I'd just get it reasonably tight so it doesn't leak. It's usually not that hard to get them out--they never squash like pipe nipples do--and as long as I could get an air impact wrench up in there, it's coming out.
