Ugly Thermostats...

So, I ordered the Nest thermostat because it is attractive. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with my Millivolt system. Can anyone recommend an attractive thermostat that is compatible with a millivolt system?

millivolt system thermostat
the honeywell visionpro can have a remote sensor, which is unobtrusive, then the control panel mounted out of the way, and i believe it to be compatible with your system. alternatively, the honeywell prestige is all wireless with remote sensors, and Internet capabilities. this would enable you to place the sensors in the optimum locations.

i think you will be better off with a real thermostat made by a company long experienced in temperature control, including experience with steam controls. the nest is undoubtedly attractive, but beauty may only be skin deep.--nbc0 -
How about something like this?

It will turn on when it is too cold and turn off when it is hot enough. Just put it in the right place. Remember, a thermostat acts to keep itself comfortable.
It would work just fine in my house that has radiant heat in the main zone; copper tubing in a concrete slab at grade, so I cannot use setback anyway.
I have outdoor reset, so it does not work very well to use setback in my baseboard zone either because it takes too long to come back up to temperature with even two degree setback.0
