Outdoor venting termination

The hot water boiler installation manual reads that the sidewall vent termination for a gas fired boiler needs to be a foot from the ground plus expected snow height.  What's the minimum height from the ground that an exhaust vent can terminate in the Greater Boston area?

The manual also states a minimum distance it must be from an inside corner, but not a bay window.  How far should the vent be from a bay that originates at ground level?

    Snow line

3 feet from any window I believe. I would treat the bay that goes to the ground like a corner. Wind can cause an eddy current which can screw up the draft.

Snow line. How much snow do you get?

Is the vent planned in a location where snow might drift?

How high off the ground is the gas regulator by the meter?

In boston Ma area i would put it at least 3 ft above ground level field controls now sells a power venter that is raised about 3 ft off the ground to be used to replace a chimney
