correct primary secondary piping setup

hi doing a 4 zone manifold pri secondary loop with the boiler trim on the primary(boiler side) of the loop. my question is i have seen the pri circ on the supply and the return sides just wondering what the difference is. id be pumping away from the expansin tank either way whats the difference on pump location? thanks for any info

I quit doing primary secondary piping over 5 years ago and have been using Calleffi's or Taco Hydronic Separators ever since. Less money, less time, better performance and a whole lot less hassle0
