PRV

I ran across a Thrush pressure reducing valve yesterday; it looks like the original and still works perfectly.

    The boiler

was original as well, probably installed when I was born (1951).

    good ole valves

Thrush had some great products that lasted. I think that was back when "Made in America" was the norm

    It amazes me...

to see hot water stuff in CA. I was born in LA, but lived all over CA. I don't really remember any hydronic stuff. My high school on the Feather river had radiators and a boiler house. That's it. I had a general contractors license from 82, everything was scorched!

Now the important stuff. I feel like a traitor. Sorry, but it's Giants to win. You heard it here folks. I think kickoff is about 11 hours away so get to your nearest betting parlor.

There's plenty of hot water heating out here - old stuff.  There's all the Eichler homes, and lots of homes with radiator systems.  My little company has 758 hydronic customers.

As far as the Niners and Giants, we've prepared a nice muddy field to play in and we know how to get dirty.

to the better team - congratulations.  That was a difficult loss for us.

Luckily, no one took me up on betting and I can keep my wallet in my pocket.

Good luck in the Super Bowl!
