Has anyone had trouble with these?

I'm heading to a call where we put one of these in.

I'm told its chugging/gurgling on startup then wont lite(intermittent).

What the heck should I be looking for?

I'm planning on taking apart the trap and checking for issues.

Its only been in for 2-3 months.

    Check for a blocked drain line - too big of a trap.

    try the vacuum trick

    Is there an in-line filter on the intake vent.  Try hooking a shop vac with 2" hose up to the combustion air intake pipe near as possible to the base and run it for 10 minutes.  See if this wiil get it going again.
