Proper Way To Mount a Low Pressure Guage?

My old Peerless boiler has only the original 30 psi gauge installed. I'd like to add a low pressure gauge, namely a WIKA 611.10 Low Pressure Process Gauge, dry case, 2-1/2" dial, 0-3 psig range, 1/4" NPT lower mount.

Would the correct way to mount the gauge be to put it on a pigtail piped off of a new T on the stem on which the two pressuretrol pigtails are currently located (upper right hand corner of the picture I've attached)?

Your advice and suggestions are much appreciated. Many thanks and best...
