Residential Boiler update Shuts off at 5 psi-jumper pressure switch starts up-cycles on pressure-house wont go above 65 degrees-sight glass stays mostly full-

one main air vent-spits-seems to vent-supply is hot return cold

    Pressure is too high

    and water level is too high.



    Try 1 psi

    presure way down.... 2 psi max. Boiler is not piped right. are the mains insulated? how is the water quality?

    Also a few other things

    Is this a new boiler?



    Is the take off from the boilers header between the risers? If so, the condensate developed in the header cant make it bake to the equalizer.



    Do you have the required 24 inches or better between the bottom of the header and the center of the gauge glass?



    What is the elevation difference between the lowest trap, and the center of the gauge glass?
