Can anyone tell me the inrush current to expect from a Grundfos 15-58 circulator? I am currently using 6 x 87 watts or about 540 watts inrush but I'm wondering if anyone has more accurate information. I have not been able to find this in any of Grundfos' documents.
Thanks

0 inrush problem with electronic start motors
Looks like I stumped the folks here. I finally got ahold of Grundfos and they have told me that because the three speed motors have electronic motor speed control these pumps do not have an inrush 'problem' - or that they will only draw their max rated current (which is .75 amp on high speed).
Probably not many folks that need this but thought I would answer the question in case anyone was curious.0 -

what would you need this info for?0 -
UPS capacity
I needed the information to be able to size a UPS that I use to power my solar thermal system - I need to ensure the max draw from the system would not exceed the ups' capacity0
