UPONOR 511S & TACO ZONE CONTROL WIRING

Thought a simple project would be to replace a 2 wire battery operated thermostat...well now i'm lost. I have the UPONOR 511S and am wiring it into the TACO-ZVC406 zone control valve. SEE ATTACHED PICTURES.

The 511 needs to be wired into the zone 1 thermostat. The old thermostat only had 2 wires plugged into the ZONE 1 thermostat receptacle...but that's not going to work with the new one. If anyone could walk me through the wiring i'd greatly appreciate it!

Thank-you!

    24 Volts

You need to power the 511 via a 24V transformer and take terminals 5 and 6 on the 511 back to TT on the zone control. If you using this just as a thermostat make sure you program it correctly. It can be used to sense air, floor or a combination of both when using floor sensor for radiant. It will learn the zones cycle.

    Don't need a second transformer

Place a jumper from R to 5 in the thermostat and take 5 & 6 back to T-T in the ZVC, Take common back to the number 1 terminal on the zone valve connection strip. Number 1 is always common on the ZVC.
