Baseboard bound

I've got a radiator/steam system in a 70-year-old house. A recent addition was constructed with hot water baseboard heating, and it uses the same water (boiler) as the original steam system. It's got a pump, of course, and its own thermostat, etc.
I'm in the process of finishing my basement and I'd like to put a baseboard system there. I've got enough room around the boiler for more 3/4 inch pipe. I know I'll need a separate pump for it. I just don't know what valves, etc. I've got to put in the supply and return. Can anybody help me with a diagram?
Gratefully,
Ernie
