Trouble finding a low pressure (ounces) gauge

Ok, so I put a Vaporstat on my new boiler and as suggested, went to the Gaugestore.com to get a low pressure gauge. This is what I selected:

But it doesn't seem right ("Inches of Water") so I called. According to their customer service, they "don't make anything low pressure for steam". They say this won't work.

What do I do?

    That is the one

Same one I have.  Works fine with steam.  Must have a pigtail between the gauge and the steam.  Straight steam will fry it.  Prime the pigtail with water before you steam the gauge.

    Thanks

Thanks Crash.....and I just found some threads confirming this'll work too. Gaugestore reps are confusing people!

    Low Pressure Gauge

Hi- There is two scales on that gauge. The inside scale is in "inches of water" and the outside is in "ounces per square inch".  They're probably telling you it won't work for steam as it is rated to only 140 deg F.  As Crash has mentioned you need to use a pigtail to protect the gauge and it will work fine.  You might consider getting the 0-32 ounce gauge (0 to 2PSI) as it gives you a bit more range.
