Oil smell with new Williamson boiler

Had new Williamson boiler installed summer 2011, when heat comes on, heavy oil smell in house, mainly in livingroom. Have drained and flushed boiler several times. Smelll seems to be localized in lvingroom. Suggestions please

Is this a....
steam boiler? If so was it skimmed, drained and flushed?..or did they just throw it in and say see ya later? oil stays on top. Draining will not help.0 -

That is not coming from the water. Your new boiler is probably located directly below the living room, so that is where you will smell it first, and if you have a fireplace with an open damper, the exhaust can go up one flue and down the other. It could be a blocked flue, delayed ignition, stuck draft control, fuel supply issue, etc. I would definitely call the installer. It is still a very young install, and any reputable installer will answer that call.0
