Viega Zone Control

Ok, Im using a Viega 6 zone control. Its made by Taco of course. Viega claims that you can only use 4 powerheads per zone terminal strip. My question is why cant I jump the W terminal to connect 2 zone strips to one thermostat? They claim it wont work. My contention is that the thermostat can handle opening 2 relays. The load is on the load side of the equation. Can someone explain this to me PLEASE? Im not an electrical engineer by far, but Im not an idiot either.
Thanks in advance.

Ratings?
Your taco zone control is probably referring to the VA (volt ampers) of the total load the secondary side of the transformer can handle without burning out. Not sure how you have it wired up, but on the name plate it will give you the contact rating and max. va not to exceed.
Hope this helped.

zone control
The control says that it can handle a total of 16 powerheads. I would think that 3 per output strip across two zone output strips wouldnt exceed that parameter.0
