Hello Guys, I am a handy Homeowner. I was checking out my automatic Water feeder; I was wondering if the cap underneath it is used for cleaning? If I shut off the water supply to it, would it be wise to even attempt to clear/Clean it? It is on pretty tight, I did not wanna break the small 1/2 Inch copper pipes serving it?
Question#1 is that brass screw cap for flushing it?
#2 Should I even bother?
The installation is about 5 years old

Unless it gets plugged
I wouldn't open it. There is a strainer in there, but unless it needs cleaning............All Steamed Up, Inc.
