I'm trying to troubleshoot my primary. I have the cad cell connected and seeing light, Line voltage to L1and L2.
The green light is on, but when I check for voltage at the Burner Motor connection, nothing.
T&T are jumped.
Shouldn't I be getting voltage to the burner motor here?

The Cad Cell
should start out "in the dark" or disconnected.
The control should NOT start the burner motor if it thinks there is already a flame being detected.
Once the burner motor voltage is detected, then quickly connect the cad cell. All Steamed Up, Inc.

cad cell
The burner motor does start with the cad cell disconnected. Then as soon as I connect the cad cell, the primary goes off on reset, the light starts flashing.0 -
lock out
If the control sees light/flame before oil valve is energized by the control. it will lock out. Why are you bench testing the control?0 -
why?
I'd like to know if my primary is shot and needs replacing.0
