Steam Valve identity?

Can anyone out there help me identify the steam valves in this multi-family property? Attached are 3 photos after removing a cap. The valves used to have a small metal lever to push down and turn to adjust. Through the years most of those are now missing. Attempting to adjust these now results in breaking the years-old seal which has formed between the valve body and valve seat and dribbling, hissing, spitting water. I'm all for replacing the entire building full of them but an old-timer says there are rebuild kits available for them. Local supply houses say they're no longer available. Wouldn't a new angle valve be the way to go?? Thanks for any help!!

    It Looks Like

    a Webster 3/4" type "W" valve.

If so, re-build kits are available from Tunstall.

To be absolutely sure, if you can remove one and send it to them, they can make a re-build kit for almost any radiator valve 1-1/4" and under.

    Thanks Gordo!

By George I think you got it - sure looks right. Also pulled up a copy of the old Warren Webster book "Steam Heating - A Manual Of Practical Data" avaialble for download free. The "W" valve shows in there, one of their pride and joy.

    Thanks again & Happy Thanksgiving!
