Zone valve Doesnt open when thermostat calls for heat

I have a peerless propane burner with 4 zones that heats through a hydro air forced air system in my attic. Zone 1 heats upstairs. When thermo calls for heat the zone valve doesnt open or trigger burner to ignite. I have to turn on heat in zone 2 and open zone 1 manually to get hot water to hydro air unit to heat upstairs. Heat shuts off upstairs when temp reaches desired temp. All wires from zone 1 are wired exactly like the other 3 zones. I already replaced zone 1 motor with no result.

Proper diagnostics avoids changing random parts.
Make sure the thermostat is working, and the wires are in good shape.0 -

the zone head is recieving the proper voltage...0 -
do you
have a panel relay controlling the zone valves? problem might be there, or bad thermostat as mentioned. What thermostat do you have? Heating/cooling with an off switch?0
