temporary radiator removal

Hello - thanks in advance for any help!

We are remodeling our bathroom and need to shut off the radiator in our bathroom in order to remove it and drywall the wall behind it. My question is, knowing how to shut just this radiator off but shutting down the valve, will we have heat going to the other radiators so that we are not without heat while the remodel takes place? Being as it is November in Maine, taking the heating system down is not an option for more than a day and this project is going to be at least three. Want to make sure we can get it done without freezing or having to wait until spring.

Thank you!

    more info

More info needed. It really depends on what type of heating system you have. If you have one pipe steam ,yes, you probably could shut one valve and remove radiator and have heat for the rest of the house. If you have hot water you may have to "by-pass" the removed radiator with a temporary piece of pipe or tubing.Do you have a picture?
