Curious, had a unit go down over the weekend. The inducer motor has failed on this unit. I've been told this part is no longer available? Has anyone else run into this? Hate to swap a boiler out for a motor....

    Not True

MM's are still avail. I just quoted one. Burnham builds them as needed provided they have all the parts for them in stock which they do.

The unit I have is one of the older unit's and they say (supply house) not available? ..I'll have to check with Burnham direct I guess..I hate to cost the customer more than need be..

    You

Should call them if they don't have I believe that was a Fasco motor. Try this..

    ok

Burnham was contacted and this unit is the first generation, 18 years old and the blower is no longer available. I could pay a lot to get one made but not sure how long...It goes to the dumpster tomorrow....

    That Sucks

I wonder what design changes were made that the current blower wouldn't work?

they changed the direction the unit was installed and the opening and plates by the look of it. Also the way it attach's to the cabinet.
