How do you determine the size of a chimney that has two gas fired appliances exaushting in the winter and one in the summer. Would a properly sized " winter" chimney be over sized in the summer??

Sizing
You can look up the proper chimney sizing in your gas code: NFPA54 in the US and B149 in Canada. Chimneys and vents are always sized for the combined appliances that vent into them.0
