VALVE HEIGHT

Is there a standard height for a shut-off valve. The Gov-Free is 2 1/2" but my valve is at 3 1/2" I cannot crib up the radiator because it would block the window (yes i know it is only 1" more) I need a shorter one I could crib up or a different brand that has a higher steam input.
