System Critique – Supplemental Under Floor Radiant Heat

I installed a AO Smith Vertex water heater and

I am now ready to order the rest of the supplemental heat system for our master

bath tile floor. The Uponor JoistTrak has already been installed, but I found a

manufacturing defect in the 200 feet of 1/2” Uponor hePEX I installed so it needs

to be pulled and replaced.

Below is a diagram I put together from the installation

instructions for the AO Smith Vertex and the Taco X-Pump Block. I will order a three

or 4 port manifold, but will only use one port for now. If I am satisfied with

the results with the supplemental heat for the mater bath, I will consider

adding more supplemental heat zones.

Have I illustrated the system correctly? Do I need an Actuator if I am only running one zone now?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post and consider my questions.
