NATIONAL 300 BOILER INSTALL
JMP
Member Posts: 1
Hi, I recently bought a reconditioned National 300 wood/coal boiler. I just got it into position last night and now am ready to start plumbing. Does anyone have experience with these boilers, if so could I get some advice or diagrams on the plumbing and size/location of pipes for the manifolds, valves etc. I placed the boiler in my garage and am pumping the water through 1 1/4" pex into a shell and tube heat exchanger which feeds my radiant system in the house. I plan on placing a ceiling unit in the garage to be used as a dump. So I will be using 2 pumps, 1 for the dump and 1 for the loop (taco 008). Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
