Does Aquapex really not have an Oxygen Barrier, or is it just the approval and marking stripe? Just curious.

No O2 barrier.
Only the HePex has it. I have seen what happens when it is installed in a radiant application... not pretty.0 -
Along these same Lines
Several times, I have isolated non-barrier radiant systems from Iron-Steel boilers and components with plate heat exchangers and all non-ferrous on the non-barrier side. Does anyone have a good method for flushing/treating they would be willing to share? Once the rust gets severe, it kinda hangs around. Some kind of cleaner (that works) would be great if anybody knows?!0 -
Just had to...
clean a system that had heat-way onyx tubing.... supposed barrier but not. Flushed out system w/ lots of water, added Rohmar 9100. System will run for a few weeks then I will flush out w/ water again and add the 922.

Unfortunately the circulators were toast.0
