Quality feed water

Hey all. I have been asked to supply a water treatment system for a small distillery currently under construction. The owners have accepted a bid for a 30 HP low pressure Allied Boiler, but I am not the steam contractor on this job. The water supply is from a well that has a high lime content. The steam does contact product and the owners have chosen to not accept any chemical additives to the boiler feed water for this reason. I need to know: 1) what my water quality test needs to include and 2) what is the best water treatment system for a steam boiler. Thanks!
