The knuckelhead installed a too small a receiver tank. So, he then installed a 120 gallon storage tank with the float control as shown. The make up water was at the Smith boiler. There was sludge everywhere in the boiler. The oil company was doing the servicing. Here, oil companies have what we call burner licenses and are not allowed to work on anything except for the burner. But some like to take on more with these results!
