My house heats up when I run the hot water. our heating co came in and replaced the aquastat and set the temp to 130 but the system still makes steam. Any ideas as to what might be causing this?

steam
I guess from your post, you have a steam boiler. Call your oil co. back up on the phone and ask for someone who's familiar with steam. Obviously it wasn't the aquastat, or it wasn't just the aquastat. Water/steam should'nt go into the system when your boiler is running for domestic hot water. You should also post this in the 'Strictly Steam' thread. There was an error rendering this rich post.
